Donation List

This is the list of items requested by Wildsides Animal Rescue and the Ingham County Animal Shelter.  The CTU will be collecting these items and monetary donations at our picnic on Thursday, June 7.

  • Towels – small, kitchen, bath, large – any!! Towels!  They go through them quickly.
  • Flat sheets, any size – no fitted sheets, flat only.
  • Liquid bleach and laundry detergent.
  • Liquid hand soap and dish detergent – like Dawn, Palmolive, etc. (liquid, not dishwasher detergent).
  • Toilet paper and tissues – used to make birds nests, clean up little animals.
  • Paper towels.
  • Cat litter – scoopable – a few resident cats but often times they will foster strays that are found, or lost, like after storms etc.
  • Stamps, envelopes, white office paper and spiral notebooks. Spiral notebooks can be half used, they’ll take them!
  • NEWSPAPER- nearly every cage is lined with newspaper and the lining is changed at least twice a day, more if they make a mess. No ads sections.
  • Animal bedding- corn cob litter.
  • Trash bags – tall kitchen bags as well as 23-30 gallon black bags.
  • Food stuff:
  • Cat food – doesn’t have to be particular brand – different kinds used for different animals.
  • Small amounts of melons, apples, carrots.
  • Sunflower seeds, they go through a lot of these.
  • Unsalted peanuts – shelled and/or unshelled.
